Welcome to Everlit Candle ("Everlit," "we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using Everlit Candle, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the service.

1. About Everlit Candle

Everlit Candle is a digital platform that allows users to create digital candles associated with prayers, memories, hopes, intentions, and other personal reflections.

Each candle may be represented by a blockchain-based digital collectible minted on the Solana blockchain.

Everlit Candle is intended for personal reflection, remembrance, and expression. It is not a religious organization, financial service, healthcare provider, or counseling service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use Everlit Candle.

By using the service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the prayers, memories, hopes, intentions, and other text content you submit to Everlit Candle.

By submitting content, you grant Everlit Candle a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, reproduce, and process such content solely for operating and improving the service.

5. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Content

Everlit Candle is a space for prayer, remembrance, hope, and reflection. To keep it safe and respectful for everyone, you agree to follow these rules when creating any candle, and especially when displaying a candle publicly on the Candle Wall.

You may not submit content that:

You are solely responsible for the content you submit, and you confirm that you have the right to share it.

How we check content. To help keep Everlit Candle safe and respectful, the words you submit may be checked by automated tools, including artificial intelligence (AI) systems, and may also be reviewed by a member of our team. This check may happen at the moment you create a candle and at any time afterward. Based on this review, we may block a candle before it is created, or hide or remove it later, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, and without refund. We may also suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

This review looks at the words you write when you submit them. For a private candle, this check happens only at the moment of creation. Your words are still never shown on the Candle Wall and are never written into the public blockchain record — only a secure one-way "hash" of a private candle is recorded on the blockchain, as explained in our Privacy Policy.

Important — permanence: Public candle content may be permanently recorded on the blockchain. Even if we remove a candle from the Candle Wall, the underlying blockchain record may not be removable. Please think carefully before making any candle public.

6. Candle Wall

Users may choose to make candles visible on the Candle Wall.

Public candles may be reviewed and moderated by Everlit Candle, including by automated and AI-based tools as described in Section 5.

We reserve the right to remove public visibility of any candle at our discretion if it violates these Terms or community standards.

Private candles are never shown on the Candle Wall. For a private candle, only a secure one-way "hash" of your words is recorded on the blockchain — never the readable text. This is explained further in our Privacy Policy.

7. Payments

Payments are processed securely by Stripe, our third-party payment provider. Everlit Candle does not store your complete payment card information.

The price of a candle is shown to you before you complete your purchase.

Everlit Candle may change its prices at any time. Any price change applies only to purchases made after the change. The price shown to you at checkout is the price you will pay.

All purchases are final. Except where required by law, Everlit Candle does not provide refunds for purchased candles. Please see our Refund Policy for details.

8. Blockchain and NFT Services

Certain candles may be represented by blockchain-based digital collectibles ("NFTs") on the Solana blockchain.

Blockchain networks are operated by independent third parties and are not controlled by Everlit Candle.

9. Ownership of Digital Candles

Subject to these Terms, ownership of a candle NFT is associated with control of the applicable blockchain wallet.

Users may transfer eligible candles to compatible Solana wallets.

Everlit Candle does not guarantee support for all wallets or third-party services.

10. No Investment Purpose

Everlit Candles are created for personal reflection, remembrance, expression, and collection.

They are not investment products, securities, financial instruments, or investment opportunities.

Users should not purchase candles with an expectation of profit.

Everlit Candle is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We make no warranties regarding uninterrupted service, availability, or suitability for any particular purpose.

Candles and prayers represent personal expressions and do not constitute religious, legal, medical, financial, therapeutic, or professional advice.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Everlit Candle and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Any dispute relating to these Terms or to your use of Everlit Candle will be handled in the state or federal courts located in the State of Delaware, and you agree to the jurisdiction of those courts.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
